And I thought it was Hivewell’s doing all along. Nope. Just a fusebox with a f**king EMP.
Actually, the security system in place was made to PREVENT Hivewell from entering.
where did you get that idea?
Just a guess. More of a hypothesis, really. So there’s a pretty good chance I’m wrong.
But what I’m sure of is that this type of security is meant to prevent someone or something from activating the place.
The EMP is what prompted Axle to check the abandoned factory. Subsequently, it also activated a security breaker unit.
Damn, now that you mention it, everything adds up.

Ouch… that had to sting. Could it be that the EMP was what caused PV to lose that memory? I mean, she certainly didn’t have enough time there to hit ctrl+s to save that one in time for sure.
It’s also somewhat frightening to think that fuseboxes in the future would be equipped with EMPs…
Namely just this fusebox.
That factory wasn’t exactly operating legally (though that was just a small mention in one of the early updates)
